| Apartment | Our apartment (120 qm) is suited
fine for two familys. Large comfortable lounge with approx. 40 square meter. One can connect the peace here pleasantly with the excitement at the lake or on the slope. The distance of Torgon to Montreux amounts to 20 autominutes. The dwelling is in good taste furnished, children are welcome. A baby bed is present. In the house you can find sauna, gym and a small swimming pool, everything can be used against a small fee of 6 CHF. Washing machine and dryers are present and can be used against a small fee. A large balcony (16 square meter) with garden furniture is present, too. |
At the skiing area "Portes du Soleil" you can find lonely
slopes with a marvelous
view of the Geneva lake and Montreux. Behind the probably-sounding name " Gates to the
Sonne" (Portes du Soleil) hide
650 km of slopes between 1000-2400 m at the French-Swiss
border area. Since all slopes meanwhile are synthetically powdered
with snow, skiing and snowboarding to Eastertime or longer is usually
no problem anymore. The area is surely one the most varied in the alps. In the
direct environment of Morgins the easy to middle slopes for beginners
and intermediate outweigh. A bit further the more fastidious
runways are located, among other slopes the famous "Swiss wall/Chavanette"
with an extremely steep mogul slope to Les Crosets and the world cup
slope near Avoriaz/Morzine. For intermediate to experienced people skisafaris
are available.
